Sick of updates

I said that I am sick of updates because I'm going to try and make my blog worth reading again and actually interesting. I am bored with writing quick updates about my life it seems to be all I have done all summer. I want to start writing again and stop whining.

Anyway, I have a job at A.L.H.S for the entire semester. It is a long term substitute position where I will be a special education teacher for Language Arts. I'm looking forward to the experience and happy to have a job again.

I have decided to put my house up for sale. My realtor was here last week the sign is up in the yard and it is a bit depressing. I know that my home will never be the same if someone else moves in. I'm am hoping to make some money on the deal and pay off my intensely terrifying credit card bills and put some money into savings for a change.

Lastly, in conjunction with the previous paragraph...it appears that I will be moving to Texas in January. I'm scared, but I'm sure with support from my friends and family it will be a good adventure and in some respects I'm looking forward to a change. I have spent the last four years of my life making major decisions. I have graduated from college twice and made three major career changes. I have basically lived alone with few exceptions. I did most of the things that maintaining a home requires...mowed the lawn, took out trash, fixed things when they broke, painted, ect...and I'm a little tired. My parents have been amazing and I appreciate everything they have done to help(it was A LOT), but I'd like to see what it is like to not have to do all of these things on my own. Hopefully this big move will work out, and if it doesn't...I know what I can accomplish on my own and next time Pops we are building instead of buying, with or without J (sorry honey)!

Virgin Mary

This "news story" caught my eye this morning. I just don't understand why people see the Virgin Mary in chocolate or a grilled cheese ect...

I guess we all see what we want to in things ;-)

Movies and Other Updates

Saw Talladega Nights last night with JJ. I thought it was really funny, but to get the full effect you have to pay attention to the background music. Anyway I enjoyed it and will definitely watch it again.

If you really like very very bad movies rent White Coats. Oh and PS if the guy at Blockbuster says oh I heard this was funny he is not telling the truth. It is all one huge lie and should be ignored.

Went to OPS's substitute teaching training on Friday. Not very exciting. I still need to get my NE license if I decide to sub over on "that" side of the river, but I'm almost all set to sub in IA. All I need now is a physical and my Dr. appointment is set. I am hoping that once I get through September I will be well on my way to financial recovery. Substitute teaching seems to pay between $120-$140, so as long as I can keep busy I will be bringing in more than I made at PayPal.

My last big decision for the week is my house. I really need to call my realtor this week and talk to her about the possibility of selling my house. Right now J and I are talking about me moving down there in Jan. when his current lease is up, and that way I could still spend the holidays with my family. However, I am beginning to lean towards selling my house instead of renting it if I move. I fear renters and what they can do to my baby, so I am beginning to think it may be best just to sell. It's a stupid shitty decision to make...I'm kind of sick of making decisions. It's been a rough year for having too many decisions to make!
