Well I've been very busy and a bit pre-occupied lately so I haven't stopped to post.
It's a great feeling when you know that a choice you have made has worked out better than you could have ever expected. I have been working towards my certification for teaching and it's closing in on time to leave my current job and start student teaching. I should have been more prepared, but it seems that everything is falling into place. I have a two week observation starting next week which I'm very excited about, but also a little nervous. I did finally get the time off of my current job which took a little prodding, but I got it and that is all that matters.
Work sucks right now. It is one of the major reasons I'm soooooo happy that I decided to make this change in my life. They have basically abolished the position that I do at my job. They are disbanding our team and moving us to different teams on the production floor. This is a very unsettling and unhappy change for our team, as we have worked extremely hard to get our program where it is today and two morons came in and trashed it all. I want to see them crash and burn and I hope to hear that it happens some day. They are two of the most clueless managers I have ever seen and I am very grateful that it is not something that I will have to deal with much longer.
I'm also happy to say that I've met someone new and I am having a great time getting to know him better!
As far as all the craziness in the news I haven't had time to keep up, so if there are any fans out there who like to read my somewhat political ranting I'm sorry. I hope to get back in the swing of things soon :-).
Also I'm thinking about painting my living room a very lite orange they call "pumpkin 2" similar to the text color of this blog, but not as dark. Let me know what you think.
It is described in the title. Simple observations about life and my thoughts of the crazy world we live in.

Weekly horoscope
Ahh if only life were as grand as my horoscope says it should be :0......
Your Week Ahead - Saturday, 22nd October 2005
CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 20)
Your week ahead: Where will you be when the music stops? When the merry-go-round ride comes to an end, what will you have to show for yourself? Will you be able to say, 'Yes, I had all the fun of the fair'? Or will you simply recall your difficulties and disappointments? The show ain't over yet. Even if you currently fear that you may not have much to look back on with pride, this is planet earth where every new day brings a new chance. To live but one hour in a state of supreme joy is to fulfil the potential of a lifetime. This week brings you something that you can celebrate forever. It may yet make sense of much that has confused you in the past. Prepare for a pleasure.

I'm very lucky!!

I'm lucky to have such amazing friends. Thanks for the wine, chocolates, and flowers and of course the company Saturday night. Ok so the wine and chocolates may have been from someone who may have a little crush on me. JJ I'll try and help you find him a woman I promise, it's unfortunate really that there are absolutely no sparks. I tried...
Overall Enchiladas were a success!!
I again am struggling with the motivation situation today. I spent the entire day on the couch with my dogs (they were teaching me the in's and outs of doing nothing). Now I'm going to be grossly honest it's 11pm and I never changed out of my pjs. I know it's sexy when matched with the image of Spongebob boxers.
Tomorrow I am going to go running. If I don't I expect to be publicly ostracized for my laziness. If I don't slip into a deep depression while working 3:30pm - 12:00pm the next two weeks it will be an amazing feat! I hate this shift more than anything in the whole world.
