Well I've been very busy and a bit pre-occupied lately so I haven't stopped to post.
It's a great feeling when you know that a choice you have made has worked out better than you could have ever expected. I have been working towards my certification for teaching and it's closing in on time to leave my current job and start student teaching. I should have been more prepared, but it seems that everything is falling into place. I have a two week observation starting next week which I'm very excited about, but also a little nervous. I did finally get the time off of my current job which took a little prodding, but I got it and that is all that matters.
Work sucks right now. It is one of the major reasons I'm soooooo happy that I decided to make this change in my life. They have basically abolished the position that I do at my job. They are disbanding our team and moving us to different teams on the production floor. This is a very unsettling and unhappy change for our team, as we have worked extremely hard to get our program where it is today and two morons came in and trashed it all. I want to see them crash and burn and I hope to hear that it happens some day. They are two of the most clueless managers I have ever seen and I am very grateful that it is not something that I will have to deal with much longer.
I'm also happy to say that I've met someone new and I am having a great time getting to know him better!
As far as all the craziness in the news I haven't had time to keep up, so if there are any fans out there who like to read my somewhat political ranting I'm sorry. I hope to get back in the swing of things soon :-).
Also I'm thinking about painting my living room a very lite orange they call "pumpkin 2" similar to the text color of this blog, but not as dark. Let me know what you think.
