As many of you know my sister is no longer a Haynes, but a Marlan. Her wedding was small just the immediate family and occurred on Monday. All went well they are very happy, of course ;-).
They went into the mountains for a couple days to relax for a mini honeymoon. They plan on going to Ireland for a big honeymoon next year and having a small reception in Colorado and maybe here in September. The wedding went well I said my little part (love is patient, love is kind...) and did fine until I made my toast (then I cried like a baby). I am blaming it on the fact that I was tired and had only had a bagel to eat that morning. I got creamed during the cake ceremony apparently they had planned to smash cake on their siblings faces instead of their own...I was hit...Jon was quick and avoided disaster.
Other than that I was rejected by Bellevue, so my big decision now lies with OPS. I am going to talk to them today and explain that due to the possibility that I may move to Texas. I won't be able to accept the position, but would be available to sub if they have trouble finding someone. Hopefully that will work, but I doubt it. If it were a job that I really wanted I would take it and hope J can make it here sooner than later, but I am not confident about this position or OPS all together. That is why my decision is what it is. I have been hired on at a temp agency, so I am hoping to find something semi permanent here in the next couple weeks. J has screwed up my plans in a good way though. He is coming to visit for a week on Monday, so that rules out getting a temp job next week because we are going to Chicago for a couple of days to see the Astros play at Wrigley field. I'm pretty excited for a little cheap vacation and to see my man. I am also planning on having a little cookout while he is in town, so keep next weekend open. I will keep everyone posted.
