I don't have much to say about the recent holiday weekend. It started out slow, but got better. I had the chance to relax and see some friends so all was well.
I'm not looking forward to this week. It's time to get my a** in gear I have two small papers, one unit, and my student teaching application to complete before the 15th of September. Once that is done I also need to compile all the information for my portfolio. I have had a year to do this, but in normal procrastinator fashion I have put it off until the last minute. I am still not in the right mindset to be completing school work, but hey it has to get done and done well enough that there is nothing to redo. It will be nice to have it all done. One thing at a time I suppose.
To end with a positive note I'm glad my ISU Cyclones came out ahead this week after what I've heard to have been not one of our best games. I'm looking forward to seeing the Iowa State vs Iowa game next weekend! It makes for a long day, but it's worth it.
